Went home last night to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower at my parents house. It was pretty spiffy - I was only out there for an hour and I saw at least a dozen meteors, some of which were pretty darned impressive. We also watched Bedtime Stories before we went out. Just an FYI to any fellow star gazers on my friends list - the annual Persiod Meteor Shower is going on right now. The perseid meteor shower should peek this weekend, if anyone is interested. Supposedly, after dark around 11:00/12:00, there's something like 60 meteors an hour or something, probably more.
